This is a group for anyone with intermediate to advance skills in performing violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, woodwinds and brass instruments, in the interest of reading, rehearsing and performing Chamber music of any time period.

The DC Classical Chamber Music Players' Meetup group is a collection of classical musicians interested in playing chamber music for fun. While good music is the goal, the emphasis here is on fun and enjoyment! As of 1/29/12, we have 204 members, covering 14+ different instruments, at varying skill levels. We are a low-stress and laid back reading orchestra that meets two Wednesdays each month. We're comprised of musicians of a variety of musical backgrounds and playing levels (intermediate or above).
