Taking its title from an Australian aboriginal expression for “wishing for something lost,” Eraritjaritjaka is director and composer Heiner Goebbels’ latest achievement. With text drawn from the writing of Nobel prize–winning Bulgarian-born novelist Elias Canetti, Eraritjaritjaka presents a whirlwind of mesmerizing images, sounds and stories, revealing, by its midpoint, a stunning change of perspective.
