I am looking for Musical Friends!
Chamber music is a form of classical music, written for a small group of instruments which traditionally could be accommodated in a palace chamber.
Because of its intimate nature, chamber music has been described as "the music of friends."
For more than 200 years, chamber music was played primarily by amateur musicians in their homes. Although today most chamber music performance has migrated from the home to the concert hall, I am hoping to find other amateur musicians who would like to play for their own pleasure.
I am open to playing other kinds of music, too!
I play the flute, but have not practiced much while raising three daughters and managing my husband's medical practice. Now that my kids are almost grown, I would like to have music in my life again. Join me?
